Nordic Language Café

In Nordic Culture Point’s Language Cafés, you have the opportunity to practice Nordic languages. You can practise Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Icelandic in an informal and relaxed setting, alongside native speakers of these languages.

Both beginners and more advanced speakers are welcome. Admission is free, and the refreshmentsare provided!

How the Language Café works:

Each language (Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and Icelandic) has its own table marked with the country’s flag. At each table, you will find a native speaker of the language.

The native speaker leads the discussion, and the topics are chosen together with the participants. As a participant, you can be as active in the discussion as you wish.

You are free to come and go as you please during the event, and you can choose whether you want to practice one or several Nordic languages.
