MIL-Espa: Guards Band – Military bands on Espa Stage

The Guards Band play an entertaining and sprightly concert in early summer.

The programme includes marches and light music, soloist performances and moments rich in atmosphere. The concert is directed by Major (mus.) Timo Kotilainen. The concert features the Guards Band's own musicians as the soloists.

The MIL-Espa park concerts have been held at Esplanade Park in summer since 1927.

The entertaining concerts are held on the Espa Stage on summer Fridays, and different ensembles of military bands from different parts of Finland take the stage in turns. The performances vary in styles of music.
