The 100th anniversary of author Kirsi Kunnas (1924–2021) will be celebrated in 2024. At the heart of the national centenary year are Finnish children’s poetry, play, the joy of reading and children’s cultural agency. The Poetry Lounge is based on Kunnas’ children’s poems and illustrator Jani Ikonen’s illustrations.
