Etno-Espa is an annual city festival that focuses on modern folk music.
Kapela Maliszów is a family group featuring the Polish multi-instrumentalist Jan Malisz and his children Kacper and Zuzanna.
The ensemble has drawn inspiration from the music of Beskid Niski and Pogorze regions, as well as from the musical traditions of Southern Poland. The Gorlice region folk songs and dance music have traditionally been played on violin, basolia (folk instrument resembling the cello) and drum.
The ensemble’s music has an archaic feel, combining improvisations with the freedom and joy of making music. Kapela Maliszów is a recipient of several international awards and recognitions and has toured Europe widely.
