Kanvas – Open Stage

Kanvas is a Helsinki-based jazz group founded in 2023. The group interprets Andrea Martín’s compositions that combine poetic lyrics, rich harmony and catchy rhythms.

The delicate but strong compositions bring out themes like loss, liberation and love. The phonetically beautiful tunes that combine jazz and pop leave space for improvisation and exploration. Kanvas consists of young aspiring musicians that study in the Pop & Jazz conservatory, Metropolia and Sibelius Academy.
