We will focus on musicians with a foreign background and their opportunities for sharing their own heritage, creating diversity, and adding to the richness of the local traditions. We will also be discussing the International School of Music Finland’s vision to create an international and diverse musical community for expat families and others who are interested in experiencing a multicultural environment through high-quality music education.

ISM Finland was established in 2015 as Finland’s first English-speaking music school. Giedre Tabocchini is a Lithuanian pianist who has been living in Finland since 2008. This autumn, Giedre was appointed as the new ISM Principal.
