While the wintry nature grows dark and silent for a period of rest, winter seeders take over Vuosaari House’s gallery.

Winter feeders are plants that dry out and stay upright, extending above the snow during the winter. The exhibition consists of hundreds of illuminated winter plants made in workshops during the autumn. The fluctuating light begs us to stop and examine the winter seeders closer without haste. The exhibition was designed and created by visual artist Greta Salonen.
