Let's get a head start on the joyous holiday season at Malmitalo's traditional Family Day at Christmas. Come and do crafts, listen to the Christmas carols you love at a concert, and immerse yourself in the warm atmosphere in the Christmas-themed workshops.

Programme

1–3 pm Christmas decoration workshop in the Malmitalo lobby
In this Nonstop Workshop, you get to create hearts from paper string and Christmas trees from various fabrics, ribbons and paper string under the guidance of skilled instructors from Taito Southern Finland. Admission is free.

1–3 pm Meet Santa Claus in the Malmitalo lobby
Come greet Santa or tell him your Christmas gift wishes! Admission is free.

1–3 pm Starry Sky, Winter Village Nonstop Workshop on the Malmitalo gallery
Come and create Christmas decorations from recycled materials! Make decorative houses from recycled cardboard. Light up traditional yarn stars above the houses. Admission is free.

1 pm Movie screening: Grinch (K7) in the Small Hall
The Grinch intends to steal Christmas, but a little girl's Christmas spirit melts his heart. Animated film, Finnish dub. Duration 90 min, free entry.

3 pm Movie screening: Wonka (K7) in the Small Hall
“Wonka” is based on the amazing characters of Roald Dahl's iconic and hugely popular children's book, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Starring Timothée Chalamet. Duration 116 min, free entry.

3 pm Satu Sopanen and Tuttiorkesteri: Tontun puuhat concert
