Changing landscapes – Look of the other
The exhibition reaches out to a new kind of landscape, ever-changing and polyphonic. The works in the exhibition imagine, shape or challenge the concept of landscape from their own perspective.

Landscape is often used to describe the totality created by individual things. A landscape can be a view of a forest or garden, a political or cultural landscape, or even a mental landscape of emotions and memories. When we talk about change, we mean that both social and individual experiences are constantly changing. In concrete terms, the natural environment is also changing with the climate crisis and biodiversity loss.
The exhibition, curated by Elif Erdoğan and Remi Vesala, invites artists to reflect on these questions through their trans, nonbinary and queer identities, and across various times and geographical locations.
