Chamber concert by Gábor Fodor (clarinet) and Adrienn Fodor (piano) on the Day of Hungarian Culture
On Thursday, January 19, starting at 18:00, the day will be celebrated with a chamber concert: Gábor Fodor (clarinet) and Adrienn Fodor (piano).
This year marks 200 years since, on January 22, 1823, Ferenc Kölcsey, the famous poet of Hungary's reform period, wrote the Anthem, which later, officially became the Hungarian national anthem in 1989. That is why Hungarian Culture Day is celebrated on this day since 1989.
On Thursday, January 19, starting at 18:00, the day will be celebrated with a chamber concert: Gábor Fodor (clarinet) and Adrienn Fodor (piano), will perform works by Hungarian and Finnish composers from the 19th and 20th centuries at the Liszt Institute.
Gábor and Adrienn Fodor graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and continued their careers in Szeged. They have lived in Finland since 1989, where they have worked as music pedagogues, first at the Pohjois-Pirkanmaa music college and then at the Ylivieska region music college until 2021.
