Award-winning singer-songwriter Pentti Rasinkangas is perhaps best known for his extensive children's music catalogue. Rasinkangas' career began in the early 70s, and he is a founding member of children's music groups Ohilyönti and Loiskis.

In addition to children's music, Rasinkangas' long career has also included folk music from different countries, and especially ancient Finnish music with its old instruments. At the Roots Club will feature a troubadour for adult tastes, a man with a guitar.

The pulsating heart of everyone’s favourite Monday night club is made of jazz, blues, country, folk, rhythm and blues, bluegrass and Americana roots music. As usual, the club hosts are Juki Välipakka and The Rooty Toot Toot Band.

The Rooty Toot Toot Band:
Juki Välipakka – vocals & guitar
Lasse Sirkko – bass
Tommi Lievemaa – guitar
Olli Haavisto – pedal steel guitar
Sirpa Suomalainen – saxophone
Kepa Kettunen – drums

Duration: 1 hour
