Hotel Rantapuisto
The Hotel Rantapuisto main building was completed in the 1960's as a bank's training center in the middle of east Helsinki nature.
A lot has happened since then, but the hotel continues to communicate the era of interesting architectural features: it consists of several wings, rooms are large and glass corridors are wide. A number of gems from the 60's era remain such as interior lighting, fireplaces and original wooden ceiling structures. Rantapuisto's attraction is its location in a beautiful natural environment. The huge windows offer unobstructed view of the local nature and the sea.
There are 67 bright hotel rooms and 3 apartments. All rooms are non-smoking.
The comfortable and spacious 120-seat restaurant Furu is located on the first floor of the hotel. The space is decorated with a merry fireplace and big windows open to a gorgeous view over the Baltic Sea. Restaurant Furu's à la carte menu offers Finnish food originating from small producer's farms and from neighboring areas without leaving international classics behind.
Rantapuisto houses also 10 meeting rooms of various sizes and an auditorium.
